The Distance Learning Department at the Islamic College for Advanced Studies (ICAS-DLD) offers convenient study of various aspects of Islam, including the study of the Quran, Hadith, Philosophy, Theology, Islamic Law and History, through an online education programme. In general, students do not need to have previous knowledge of these disciplines. Our students learn in the virtual environment of Openstudy, from the comfort of their own home, in their own time and from all over the world.

Provides you with basic knowledge of the holy Quran and Hadith, informing you about Quranic sciences, rules of Quranic commentary, history and development of Hadith as well as Islamic tradition.
Makes you familiar with priceless knowledge of Islamic philosophy, Islamic mysticism, Islamic theology, and Islamic ethics.
Gives you general information of Islamic law and jurisprudence, and with more depth makes you knowledgeable of some chapters such as family law and criminal law.
Provides you with general knowledge of history of Islam as well as Islamic civilization and gives you some analytic information about current issues in Muslim societies.
